Prep time: 10 mins | Cook time: 15 mins | Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
1 large head of Cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
-
2 tbsp Olive oil or Avocado oil
-
½ cup Panko breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if preferred)
-
¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tsp Garlic powder
-
1 tsp Smoked paprika
-
½ tsp Salt
-
¼ tsp Black pepper
-
Optional: Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
-
Prep the Cauliflower: Wash the cauliflower florets and pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel. (Excess moisture will prevent them from getting crispy).
-
Season: In a large bowl, toss the florets with the olive oil until evenly coated.
-
Breading: In a small bowl, whisk together the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the mixture over the cauliflower and toss again until the florets are well-coated.
-
Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Place the florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
-
Cook: Air fry for 12–15 minutes. Halfway through the cooking time, shake the basket well to ensure even browning.
-
Finish: The cauliflower is done when it is golden brown and the edges are crispy. Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
