For the Seafood
- 2 lobster tails
- 1 pound sea scallops
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Using kitchen scissors, cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise. Gently pull the lobster meat upward and rest it on top of the shell.
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season the lobster tails and scallops with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the lobster tails flesh-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until opaque. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sear the scallops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the skillet and add minced garlic. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- Return the lobster and scallops to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the seafood and cook for 1–2 minutes to warm through.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, rice pilaf, or crusty bread to soak up the delicious garlic butter sauce.
